The Home
Black accents, cabinetry, and doors along with wide plank oak flooring gives 3261 a modern and welcoming feel. The combination of traditional and modern vibes truly makes this house feel like a home. In the home you’ll find Samsung appliances, Moen faucets throughout, Optimal hot water heaters, Nest thermostats and doorbell, Govee soffit lighting, plenty of green space with lush gardens and mature trees, old chicago brick drive and pathways, parking for four vehicles including an air conditioned single car garage with epoxy flooring, and so much more. The current owners are happy to answer any questions, as they were present and active in every part of the build and remodel process.
2025: The Addition
As planned, over 750 more sq/ft were added to include a large primary en suite and a large second bedroom with a Jack & Jill bathroom. At the same time, a black metal roof was added to the entire house. Unlike many additions, this one doesn’t feel like an afterthought. The entire home is one level, with the same engineered hardwood found throughout.
2021: The Remodel
3261 was purchased in 2020 with approved plans to fully demo and remodel the property. Close to 400 sq/ft was added, the garage was converted back to a functioning workspace, the antiquated pool was removed and filled, and the grounds were reimaged with plans to add bedrooms and bathroom down the road.
2020: The OG
Built in 1948/9, the home was originally a 2/1 with a small florida room overlooking the backyard. Over the years, a pool was added and the garage was converted to a third bedroom with an additional bathroom. Solid bones, worn out style.
